THE LEARNING CENTER

The Learning Center Programs

We’ve spent years developing programs that meet childrens’ needs and parents’ expectations.

Infants

Our childcare providers understand what infants need to grow and thrive. We provide our youngest children with a caring, clean, and comfortable environment. We help infants develop movement, flexibility, and other important skills. When an infant is ready, we encourage floor play, tummy time, and crawling.

Toddlers

Our toddler program gives young children the structure they need to meet new physical and academic challenges. We encourage them to participate in independent activities. We promote socialization through group play and learning. We prepare them for advancement into our preschool class.

Preschool

Our pre-school program helps children develop the skills they need to begin Kindergarten. We reinforce social skills, independence, creativity, and communication. We build on previously introduced academic abilities such as math, science, and reading.

Kindergarten

Our Kindergarten programs give young students a chance to prepare for school in the morning and wind down in the afternoon. We provide arts and crafts, outside play, and classroom activities. We’re here for your Kindergartener during weather closings, teacher service days and other times when schools are closed but parents must work. If bus service isn’t available through your child’s school district, we provide transportation to and from our campus.

School Age

We provide extended day morning and afternoon activities for school-age children in first through fifth grade. Our program is available during weather closings, teacher service days and at other times when schools are closed but parents must work. TLC is the only major child care and early education center to provide local school transportation when it’s not available through a child’s local school.

Summer Camp

At TLC Summer Camp, children enjoy arts and crafts activities, cookouts, field trips, pool visits, and fun activities all summer long. We also focus on writing skills, science, and other learning activities.

Early Education For Your Child

The Learning Center of Connecticut treats each child as if he were our own. At The Learning Center we offer everything from development programs for infants to after school programs for school age children. Your child will work with a licensed and insured educator that is also CPR & First Aid certified. Currently, Our popular Brightwheel communication platform helps you keep in contact with the school for check-ins and notifications. We also use Brightwheel to report on your child’s learning milestones, show you photos and bring you closer to your child’s experience throughout the day. The Learning Center is enrolling at all four centers, offering year round / open enrollment.

THE LEARNING CENTER OF CONNECTICUT

We Provide Quality Childcare For 6-Weeks – 12-Year-Olds in Four Facilities Throughout Windsor, South Windsor, and Manchester.

We believe in educating the whole child; intellectually, physically, emotionally and socially. What Our Families are Saying

This is our second year at the learning center and although there is no magic wand to make a mother’s fears go away, the staff and admin at this daycare are phenomenal.

I am truly happy with the facility. I find that the educators take great pride in teaching the children and having a specific themed curriculum for them. The instruction is engaging and the teachers and administrators truly care about each child.

I know the staff here really care about every kid. All the teachers know the kids by name. They share any concerns in a timely manner and work with parents to help each child grow. The indoor equipment provides plenty of space for kids to run around and play when they can’t enjoy the outdoor playscapes. My daughter loves her teachers!

If you have questions about tuition and openings contact us by phone or the form below and we will contact you shortly.
