Learning Center Curriculum
Our curriculum was developed by a team of Learning Center administrators and experienced teachers using the State of Connecticut Preschool Curriculum Framework as a guide.
We strongly support the theory that children learn through play. Additionally, our curriculum supports that all children are individuals, developing at their own pace, and must be provided with the appropriate guidance.
The Learning Center teachers plan theme based units. These units are enhanced by hands on activities that are specifically intended and modified to meet the developmental needs of each child. The Learning Center recognizes the importance of offering every child the tools and opportunities to develop and succeed socially, emotionally, physically, and academically.
*The Learning Center has an open door policy. A parent is welcome to visit or call the center at anytime. If required, a conference with a child’s teacher can be scheduled through the Director.

Since each child is an individual, we take into consideration unique developmental levels when planning activities.
